Monday Bits

October 22, 2012 Ana Carini

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend… I've got lots (really!) of stuff done at

petitePARADE

/

Vogue Bambini

Kids Fashion Week and gladly made home back in time to sit on my porch and slowly unwind from the hectic weekend. It can be somewhat nerve-wracking to experience all things Kids Fashion Week for the first time. Nerve-wracking because I experienced Kids Fashion Week for the first time and I really didn't know what to expect. Between lounging and snapping runway photos, snacking on some soft serve, hanging out at

 Milk and Hunny

, listening to

DJ Kai Song

(only 8 years old), and meeting new people, including my two new friends

Anna

and

Kimberly

, I must admit that one thing I loved about corresponding at the event is people watching. There is sooo much to be seen and so many amazing outfits that come in and out of the event that I couldn't be happier to be there to survey the scene. The same goes for backstage, I had the

best

time hanging out with the petitePARADE team.  Please note: this trip wasn't just for me - but for you guys too!

To tell the truth, I am far from calling myself a fashion expert. I'm not really expecting compliments, honestly. I love style, I follow the brands I know, I shop on trends,  and know exactly when I find something I like for me and my boys. But runways, fashion houses, and haute couture can be a bit intimidating at times but hey, what's great about is that the trip to New York was a combination of experiencing Kids Fashion Week and reporting for petitePARADE, and much of what I saw and captured from the event, including behind the scenes, which will be soon posted here. Not sure if I'd be able to do this by myself if we were't in this together. Oh, and by the way, thank you all for supporting me on this, I've been receiving tons of great feedback, comments, and new users enjoying my updates on

Facebook

,

Twitter

, and

Instagram

so please please bare with me these next few days as I'll be trying my best to sum-up all for you, alright? xx

Kids Fashion Week é estressante pessoal, principalmente se for a primeira vez.
